Aim-FarmRob
The project Aim-FarmRob aims to create a prototype robot for the next generation of autonomous agricultural machines. The robot will have precise localization using RTK enhanced GPS, as well as relative localization in relation to the crops it is working on. The crop detection will be based on modern AI-mechanisms and allows the robot to detect, classify and evaluate the state of crops during each mission. A novel mobility system allows the prototype to also be used after crops are already growing on the field. A versatile interface for multiple different modules for e.g., soil analysis, weeding, stone collection and more is integrated to provide maximum versatility. The first stage of this planned multi-stage-project will develop the basic platform and a soil analysis module. More modules, an enhanced AI and improved user-interfaces will be added in further stages.
